Daniel Bertrand is a Commercial Insurance Agent and Principal Owner of Armstrong & Associates Insurance Services. Dan’s expertise lies in Property & Casualty insurance for medium-to-large transportation, construction and wholesale/distribution businesses. With over 15 years of risk management experience, Dan has developed several niche insurance programs for A++ Insurance carriers and is currently the endorsed agent for the California Dump Truck Owners’ Association with over 2,000 members. Dan is an active member of CalPasc, the California Association for Professional Artisan Contractors, with over 1,200 members.

Dan’s clients appreciate and find value in his expertise in risk protection and his desire to provide quality personalized service. Dan has been with Armstrong & Associates since 1998 and has built a solid reputation due to his knowledge of the laws, regulations and intricacies of the transportation and construction industries.

Prior to joining Armstrong & Associates, Dan spent 14 years in the hospitality industry managing upscale 4 and 5-Star hotels in Northern California and New York City. After leaving the hospitality industry, Dan entered the insurance field as Team Leader for Chubb Insurance Company’s Western Zone Account Service Center where he managed a staff of over 40 persons with responsibilities for a $75 million book of business servicing 11 western states. Dan attended New York University’s School of Business with a concentration in Marketing and Finance and is also a graduate of the Fire Safety Institute of New York.”

Dan enjoys time with his family including his 5 year old son Cole, playing league basketball, traveling, watching movies and reading history and political books.
